I want to know what you are thinking and feeling about the project at all points during the process. So please do not hesitate to express what you are thinking and feeling about the track so we can have an open dialogue about how it is shaping up
Staying Organized
Slack has a feature called “reply in the thread”. If you hover over the message I sent with your songs in it, click the button that looks like a thought bubble, and send any revision requests in a message thread!
As part of your project, I include three complimentary revisions at this stage of the project. Please send in each round of revision notes within 24 hours of each other. This helps me be as efficient as possible when implementing your changes!
(For example, if you send your first note right now, you would have 24 hours to send in the rest of your notes before I start a round of revisions!)
How To Get The Most Out Of This Process:
Listen to the mix in three different environments that you’re familiar with. This can be your car, speakers, air-pods, your friend’s sound system, etc. I don’t recommend listening just off of your laptop or phone speakers since you won’t hear the depth of everything that’s going on.
Listen to the mix on two different volumes. One that’s more subtle and background, and one that’s a bit more intense
What You Can Expect With Revisions:
After your revision notes have been sent, I’ll begin implementing your changes. If I have any notes, I’ll reply in a thread via Slack.
Revisions typically take 1-2 weeks to finish depending on how many adjustments are needed.
Once revisions are done and we both approve of the project, I’ll send the project to the next step in the process.
